We are often distracted by thousands of thoughts per day. Our thoughts drift into the past with regrets and worries. At times we look to the future with excitement, fear, or anxiety.
Being mindful and focusing our awareness in the here and now gives us the chance to enjoy the present moment. Our happiness resides in the present. Once we breathe and shift our awareness to the present moment, only then can we enjoy it.
Our life with all our trials and imperfections is just as it should be. Happiness is our birthright, there is nothing we need to become, or achieve to be happy. We are perfect despite our imperfections!
